Last night I watched the “Saddleback Showdown” hosted by Rick Warren. I am by no means a RW fan and do not agree with most (if not all) of his teaching I did find the forum very interesting. We saw a vast difference between Sen Obama and Sen McCain.
I will not attempt to tell you to vote for Sen McCain as I differ with him in several areas. What I did find very interesting was the answers of Sen Obama. He claimed to be a Christian at the beginning of the show and then went on to answer many of his questions from a very distinctivly non-christian view point.
He said that he was pro-abortion and he could not/would not answer the question as to when a person has protection of human rights (i.e. when a baby is considered a human). McCain’s answer was immediate with “at conception.” Sen Obama said that in his view a marriage was between a man and a woman. He went on to say that he did support civil unions though. This is also in contradicion to the Word of God.
I plead with every Christain that will vote in this election to read the Bible and pray before they vote. Please do not vote by your pocket book. Examine the candidates by the Scriptures and vote for the one that will most uphold its commands and teachings.
