I came across this the other day on FoxNews. This is so scary that it should shock believers into action. The Pew Forum did a survey on religion in America. The results are a very sad statement on the Church as a whole in America. Below are just a few of the statistics: (These stats here are all for people attending Evangelical Churches i.e. Evangelical, most Baptists, PCA, most Reformed, etc…)
Only 90% believe in God with absolute certainty. (What about the other 10%?????)
57% believe that more than one religion can lead to eternal life.
Only 59% believe that the Scriptures are the literal Word of God word for word.
This is a very sad commentary on the Church today. Where is the conviction? Where is the passion for the Lord? I pray that the Lord light a fire in our hearts for His Word and His Kingdom.
